OS X Lion and ColorEyes Display Pro

Compatibility Update 10.11.11

ColorEyes Display Pro will run on Mac OS X 10.7, although some features may not run correctly depending on your machine, video hardware, etc.

The core issue we are seeing is limited to the Apple Brightness Monitor Driver.

We have made Apple aware of this problem and are working with them on a fix.

In the meantime, if you are working with an Apple Display we suggest using LCD Brightness only to achieve the same results.

Also, if you are updating to Lion, we strongly recommend de-activating your current ColorEyes license as the Lion update will cause duplicate activation problems. (typically an error code -10)

Recommended action

We still strongly recommend keeping your current and supported Mac OS X version. If you must upgrade to Lion, we recommend setting up a another partition or hard drive on your Mac for Lion. Keep your Snow Leopard system to preserve your existing workflow and installations.

We understand that in a new hardware environment it has become difficult to downgrade from Lion and recommend noting the current incompatibilities until we receive a proper fix from Apple. We will be pushing this update out as soon as possible. You can also receive updates by following us on Twitter

We are currently working on the next generation of ColorEyes. We will be supporting our current release as well as releasing an update once we are confident it is addressing current issues with Lion.

Thank you for your patience and thanks for using ColorEyes Display Pro.
