Gelcard

Gray balance has finally become the critical component of digital capture that we have been suggesting for years. There are several gray cards now on the market that are pure gray. This one can not be said to be pure gray but there are some characteristics of it that no one else has tried to match. As photographers we are all familiar with, and practiced at using cto and ctb filters on lighting to create a warmer or cooler feel to an image.

The Digital GelCard is a full set of cto and ctb filters in a single capture. Shoot the entire card and click balance on the patches until you find the feel you’re looking for. Change your mind? Click on another patch. It’s so much easier and faster then gelling lights.
